Here’s a project which has come to us courtesy of Roots Kitchens Bedrooms Bathrooms of Kent.

Steve Root had a customer who fancied a star ceiling in a new bathroom and the initial thinking was that our Eclipse disk might fit the bill.

However, at 1.2 metres diameter the Eclipse is a bit smaller than what Steve and his customer had in mind, 

so in the end he decided to make a larger disk himself using a custom fibre harness supplied by us.

There are 340 stars in the disk illuminated by one of our standard MiniLED550 light sources. 

Since the light source lives in the loft above the disk the fibres were all pretty short, which meant that the cost of the fibre optic components was very modest.
